About April Kunis, MA, LPC, BCC, CPCS
In my personal life I am a very curious person. I’m always interested in understanding more about myself, others, and the systems that we live in that shape who we are and what we believe. Some might say I’m obsessed with reading books, attending workshops, and listening to podcasts. There's always more to learn! I also enjoy fitness of any kind (but mostly power lifting), writing, meditating, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with my loved ones. My friends, family, and clients will tell you that I’m authentic, honest, fun, and a real down-to-earth human.
In my professional life, I hold a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia, a Board Certified Life Coach, and a Certified Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor. I specialize in working with women on a wide range of issues related to relationships, grief and loss, self-confidence, self-love, self-empowerment, central nervous system dysfunction, inner child healing, social anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and business and career coaching, family disagreements, sexual identity, and more. In addition to individual client sessions, I also conduct public workshops and educational seminars periodically as well. I frequently attend workshops, seminars, and trainings all around the country, meeting with the most educated and influential people in my field, so that I may share the most cutting-edge information with my clients. I started Insight Counseling and Coaching 14 years ago because I wanted to create a space where I could collect and work with the most like-minded and well-trained therapists and coaches in my industry, to really make positive changes in people's lives and deliver our clients the absolute best results possible. I believe we are doing just that. We are proud to have been voted Best of Gwinnett for four years and will strive to continue being the best in our field long into the future.
I can honestly say that I am living a life that I am passionate about, full of curiosity, love, and fulfillment. It would be my sincerest pleasure and honor to work with you to help you do the same.

I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate degree (Go Noles!) and received my Masters Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and the American Counseling Association. My family recently moved to this area from Panama City, Florida and I am enjoying the perks of a larger city! We enjoy exploring all of the great family-friendly activities that this area has to offer. I love to work out and consider physical fitness to be a huge part of my life and how I remain centered. I can also be found curled up with a good book once my workout is over!

About Tyann Mosley, PhD, LPC
My personal life includes my husband, our three sons, my extended family, and my friends. I believe in education, quality time with family, good food, laughter and creating memories with those you love. I enjoy reading, photography, miniature golf, playing board games, traveling, listening to music and going to the movies. I am a true “superhero” fan. So upon release of any superhero movie I’m one of the first attending. I believe we only have one life so why not create the one we want.
I hold a Doctorate degree in Counseling Education and Supervision from Mercer University. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the State of Georgia. I have over 20 years of clinical experience. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I have lived in Georgia now for about 10 years. I have a Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Anthropology and African-American Studies from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. My counseling is diverse including couples with relationships concerns, individuals struggling with depression, self-esteem and trauma, youth struggling with adjustment issues, and parenting challenges. I am a certified Parent Educator. I facilitate IMPACT Pre-Service training throughout the state of Georgia for foster and adoptive parents. I also teach as an adjunct professor at Mercer University in Atlanta.
I view myself as a Creative Counselor and an Innovative Educator. I believe life can sometimes make you feel as if you are trapped in a box with no way out. To escape the box of life, you must think outside the box to get your desired results. My out-of-the-box counseling is grounded in three beliefs. First, I believe everyone has a story that is worth telling. Secondly, I believe words guide behaviors so choose the words that give life. Thirdly, I believe it’s never too late to change your story. Let's create the life story you deserve!

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (McMurry University) and went through two Master’s programs, one for Family Psychology (Hardin-Simmons University) and most recently for Positive Psychology (Life University). I am a trained therapist and coach who opted for Positive Psychology Coaching as a career. Things I’m most knowledgeable about include addiction, family of origin and inner child work, relationships and ADHD. I am currently under supervision and am working toward my PCC accreditation from the International Coaches Federation.
Originally from Nashville, TN, My husband and I moved here in 2019 just before the birth of our baby girl. We have loved living in this area because it offers so many things we love: parks, hiking, museums and the mountains so close by. During my off time I love to travel, see live music, watch tennis and spend time with family and friends.
